The Marble of whole half-cooked Duck foie gras is an authentic product made of strightly selected lobes. It is cooked under vacuum at low temperature to keep its aromas. You should taste it with some flower of salt. Half-cooked product you should put it into the fridge on receipt. You can keep it for about 6 months. Delivery by colissimo within 48 hours. Packaging : punnet with protective cap.
Take your foie gras out of the fridge, turn it out, wait for about 15 minutes and then cut it with a cheese wire or a knife you let under warm water. Put it on a dish and back to the fridge until you want to serve it. You should eat it with a figs chutney (sweet and savoury) which will reveal its fruity taste. Advice of the wine waiter : If you serve it with a chutney, a sweet Bergerac wine, not too sweet but quite fruity, as the Côtes de Bergerac from Château Court-les-Mûts is the best. If you want to taste it nature you can have a stronger, sweeter wine like a Monbazillac from Château la Robertie.
