Whole half-cooked Goose Foie Gras

You want to taste a real fine and natural foie gras, then try the whole half-cooked goose foie gras.  Delicacy and smoothness are its qualities.  Proposed in a tradionnal jar, cooked at low temperature, this foie gras will remind you the one of your grand-mothers.  Half-cooked product, you should put it into the fridge on receipt.  You can keep it for about 6 months.  Delivery by colissimo within 48 hours.  Packaging : jar.


Conseils d'utilisation :
Take your foie gras out of the fridge, put the jar quickly under some warm water and open it.  With the edge of a knife go round the foie gras and take it out delicately with a fork by turning it while pulling.  Wait for about 15 minutes and then cut it with a cheese wire or a knife you let under warm water.  Put it on a dish and back to the fridge until you want to serve it.  A parcimonious sweet-savoury touch of figs chutney should delight your guests.  Advice of the wine waiter : a delicate, fruity and slightly sweet wine will highlight the delicacy of the goose foie gras.  Try the Premières Grives du Château Traiquet, more specially proposed during aperitive but also with a foie gras.
